This page summarises how Traits Test Centre handles your personal data. The current text below is a working draft; finalise with legal review before production launch.

What we collect

• Your email address when you submit a result reveal form.
• Your assessment responses and the resulting scores.
• Basic device metadata (IP address, browser fingerprint) for anti-cheat.
• Optional profile data you choose to add (date of birth for age-matched norms).
• Payment processing metadata via our payment providers, Nuvei and PayPal (we never store card numbers).

How we use it

• To compute your cognitive and personality scores.
• To detect cheating or invalid response patterns on paid assessments.
• To send transactional emails (result links, receipts, account recovery).
• To improve our norms and item bank, only in aggregated, de-identified form. We do not sell your data.

Your rights

You can request a copy of your data, request deletion of your account, or withdraw consent at any time. Email support@traitstestcentre.com to exercise any of these rights.

Retention

Assessment results remain in your account for as long as the account is active. Anonymous response data may be retained indefinitely for norm refinement, with no personally identifying information attached.
